KWAYA Crossgrade is a virtual choir library that brings the unmistakable intensity of African vocal performance into music productions. Producer Eduardo Tarilonte recorded the award-winning Aba Taano choir from Uganda — four men and two women — individually at Eldana Studio in Spain. Each singer recorded 40 syllables, switchable via keyswitch, plus five true legato vowels and the signature "Mmmh" articulation. A Phrase Arranger offers 20 phrases of 8 syllables each, with timing under the composer's control. Over 700 vocal effects and 16 soundscapes add extra atmosphere.
