However, one feature I particularly like is the ability to reassign pedal functions. Instead of being limited to just damper control, you can make the pedal to control volume or expression for each sounds. Effect management is intuitive: press the Insert FX knobs to activate an effect such as distortion, EQ, or phaser, then turn the knob to adjust the intensity. You can adjust the parameters of each effect using the dedicated knobs below. One feature I wish the Numa X Piano included is a built-in metronome or handful of drum patterns. It would be a great addition for practicing or improvising—especially for jazz or bossa nova players looking to jam along with rhythmic backing directly from the keyboard.
